Project Portfolio - 205 West Wacker Drive
Investigated condition of terra cotta and brick masonry facade. Documented distress, provided conceptual repair schemes, and engineer’s opinion of probable repair costs for budgetary consideration. Provided contract documents for restoration of building masonry facade. The work was phased over multiple construction seasons, and included all elevations and parapets. Provided bidding services and construction administration services, including assistance during contract negotiation with the repair contractor, submittal review, observation of the repair work, progress meetings, and the processing of the contractor payment requests. Since 1996, have prepared City of Chicago Building Reports for the owners, including: Critical Examination Reports, On-going Facade Maintenance Reports and Exposed Iron Reports. In 1998, a five-year window sealant replacement project was started. It included the replacement of all perimeter sealants and the wet sealing of all glazing gaskets. Back to project portfolio |
